I posted back in December about needing info on assisted living/memory care places for my dad moving from Washington. I’m happy to say we found 2 really good ones here in the Northrich neighborhood. We went with The Monarch at Melrose and Richardson Crossing. He will be here Monday and so excited for him to join this establishment. It’s so cozy, people have worked there a long time and so friendly. Carol at Monarch worked with us and got him in. I also wanted to give a big thank to Sheryl Radman a geriatric case manager who reached out to me in the beginning of our journey. She was so helpful letting me know which places on my list to avoid and recommending places not on my list. She made me feel so much better about where to visit, answered all my questions even though she was sick with the flu!! (Over the phone haha)
She is amazing. She’s on Nextdoor and I highly recommend reaching out to her if you are going through this process. We were looking at assisted living and possibly memory care since wasn’t sure where dad would fall. She loves helping people and doesn’t even charge for her help. Thanks for all that replied it was really an overwhelming start but with Sheryl by my side was so easy. I’d also answer any questions about my journey but Sheryl is the expert.
